Greetings!
At the end of August I spotted a tree with a hint of fall in its leaves. Then I saw one or two more showing just a bit of orange and gold in one or two branches. This always takes me by surprise….it is not time for summer to be winding down.
Is it really September already? Don’t we say that every year at this time?Somehow, as hard as it is for many to see summer leave, I embrace September. It remains my favorite month here on Cape Cod ever since I was able to stay here one summer after Labor Day. The Cape took on a whole new appeal. As tourists wave goodbye for another year, we remain to enjoy this magnificent month where the uncrowded beaches are gorgeous, the water still warm, and the thought of fall can wait. So welcome, September, with all you bring us…
