This special edition of our newsletter is coming out a bit later than usual in order to celebrate two very special events that occurred in early December. As many of you know, Flower Angels was honored to be able to participate in this year’s Spectacle of Trees!  It was beyond exciting and several articles this month focus on this wonderful fund-raising opportunity we were able to enjoy.
Many of our volunteers participated by designing, decorating, donating, and even selling and purchasing tickets.  Countless hours were spent organizing and soliciting donations. It was a labor of love and a tribute to the mission of Flower Angels.
In addition, we also promised a follow up to our  Veteran’s Day project that was extremely successful.  What a blessing to honor our veterans who reside in nursing homes and assisted living facilities on Cape Cod.
This time of year is always a season of giving.  As we get older, we understand that it is often the case that we are more blessed in giving than receiving.  May you enjoy time with those you love and be blessed in the many ways you give this December.

To date Flower Angels has delivered over 23,000 bouquets to wonderful people residing in our partnering nursing homes and hospice facilities across Cape Cod. Our mission of love and flowers continues due to all our dedicated volunteers, the teams from Cape Abilities and Community Connections, and our generous sponsors and donors. At this special time of year, Flower Angels sends holiday blessings to all those who make “Delivering random acts of love. Recycling flowers……..warming hearts” possible.
